Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs 680g boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 small flour or corn tortillas
  • Toppings: chopped lettuce diced tomatoes, sliced avocado, shredded cheese, sour cream, salsa, lime wedges, etc.

Instructions

  • Preheat the Blackstone griddle to medium-high heat (375°F/190°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, chili powder, ground cumin, smoked paprika, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  • Rub the chicken breasts with the marinade mixture.
  • Place the marinated chicken breasts on the preheated griddle.
  • Cook for about 6-8 minutes per side until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Remove the chicken from the griddle and let it rest for a few minutes. Then, slice or chop it into bite-sized pieces.
  • Warm the tortillas on the griddle for about 20-30 seconds per side.
  • Assemble the tacos by adding the cooked chicken and your desired toppings to each tortilla.
