Smoked Chili

The best smoked chili recipe is easy to make on any smoker.

Cook Time 1 hour 20 minutes
Servings 8

Ingredients

  • 1 onion
  • 1 anaheim or poblano pepper
  • 32 oz tomato juice
  • 5 roma tomatos or crushed tomatoes
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 2 oz chili powder
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 pkg noodles
  • 1 salt to preference
  • 1 pepper to preference
  • 1 pinch red pepper flakes
  • 1 can chili beans or red kidney beans

Instructions

  • Warm Smoker and Grill
  • Gather Ingredients
  • Add Olive Oil to Crock or Pot, simmer onions,garlic
  • Add and crush tomatoes, Add Chopped Pepper, let cook for a few minutes
  • Add Beans
  • Let this all simmer while opening can of tomato juice
  • Season Ground Beef, Make into a Ball, and Place in Smoker Above Pot of Chili
  • Smoke for about an hr, until meat reaches internal temp of 160 degrees
  • Pull Apart Ground Beef or Steak and put into chili
  • Add Noodles
  • Serve
